Oxfam for Peace

Taking advantage of the Geneva II conference in Montreux and the discussions on Syria, the Oxfam group (Oxford Committee for Famine Relief) placed symbolic graves by the lake to represent the more than 100,000 people who have gone missing due to the conflicts in that country.
Oxfam, along with other peace activists and Nobel laureates, placed white roses on the graves in the hope that the conferences would be helpful in resolving the conflict.
