Model photography is a very interesting technique for making architectural images. It allows the study and popularization of exterior plans from different points of view. From . By a live control of the lighting in studio, we see the result of the modifications instantly, the propagation of the light in a space can give a realistic vision of the effects of the light inside or the range of the shadows on the outside. The photography of model brings a representation which gives another interpretation than the computer generated image. The photography completes in a presentation file the other means of expression.

Model photography is also applied to other fields than architecture.
