"A few days before her exhibition "Percorsi" was to be hung at the Kairos space, Ariane Ellberger contacted Pascal des Studios Casagrande to produce a series of photos reproducing her work as well as setting up the exhibition itself.
The photography of paintings is a difficult exercise because it is a question of restoring as faithfully as possible the color, the texture and the shape of the work. It is a great advantage for the photographer to be accompanied by the artist who can give him precious advice on his work and, when it comes to making composite images, to adjust the spacing, level, etc.
and general layout of the tables.
Once the works are sold, it's the photography that remains... Ariane Ellberger understood this and used this exhibition for a new project: the creation of a book gathering the photos of her works accompanied by several inspired texts. For this new visual step, she mandated the graphic designer Arnaud Ducor, for the delicate task of laying out and controlling the printing of the whole. The result is quite successful, you can judge it through the images below or by contacting the artist herself to obtain a copy (ariane.ellberger@sunrise.ch).
The book was unveiled during a pleasant garden party. On this occasion, the public discovered an immersive musical piece* composed for the occasion by Emile Elberger, husband of Ariane. A nice course for the exhibition of the same name 😉."
